I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled upon Claudia Tan’s Perfect Addiction and realised that there was a film adaption in the works. I also was not completely able to understand the backstory of why Kayden decided that he was going to start fighting. I started reading this book before Perfect Illusion and when Cara was talking to Alex on the phone I decided to switch over to PI. The author did not hold back as she crafted her characters with a broad brush, dealing with many of life‘s hard knocks in between snippets of love and light.
