If I was rating the bareMinerals BAREPRO liquid foundation with a points system, I’d give it 10/10 for longevity. Once this has dried down and been lightly set with a translucent powder, it lasts from morning to night with no touch-ups required . It’s also very transfer-proof — if I touch my face or accidentally brush my skin with clothing, it doesn’t rub off at all. By the way, you’ll need a really good makeup remover and face wash to remove this thoroughly at the end of the day! The bareMinerals BAREPRO foundation is described by the brand as ‘creamy’, but I wouldn’t necessarily agree with that. When you pour it out of the bottle, it’s actually quite thin, liquidy and watery (like Mac Face And Body, for instance).
PRO TIP (for wet application): Allow 30 seconds for powder to dry down to its natural matte finish before applying additional makeup as the shade may appear richer and more vibrant when applied wet. My spots and scars are still visible, as is that blue vein. I also find the Pro gets a bit cloggy when you add an extra layer, which isn’t ideal. It is better at covering enlarged pores, gives a nice smooth finish, and it lasts well too.bareMinerals make-up also provides a wide range of gorgeous lip products, amazing eye palettes and a whole host of blushes and bronzers to create your naturally beautiful look. Normally, I wear a BareMinerals BB Primer before I add foundation, and I would really recommend this step. The primer makes both types of foundation last longer, and stops skin getting too shiny as well as giving light coverage. I’m not wearing that in the photos above though, so you can see the effect of the foundations on their own. Best for: Most skin tones and types, though dry skin may need to prep with a serum for an optimal finish.
