About this deal

Everyone expected Violet Sorrengail to die during her first year at Basgiath War College, Violet included. Thus begins an every other week trip for Violet and Xaden, him with her one weekend, her with him the next weekend. As you can imagine, I read it, screamed, cried, read it again and I have so many questions it’s unreal.

SPOILER ALERT: This article contains massive spoilers for Rebecca Yarros‘s best-selling fantasy novel “ Fourth Wing” and its sequel “ Iron Flame,” released Nov. For instance, one reader said she opened her book to discover the text started on Chapter 33 instead of the beginning of the book.I am skimming plot points here since others have covered them very well but there is a lot of stuff left hanging at the end of this book and the end itself will floor you.

Because you also have a lot of bad blood between him and Xaden over what happened with his older brother.Violet could go back in time (since Andarnas was to stop time maybe reverse since she’s older) Talk to her dad or liam, maybe save xaden in the future. Why did you choose to reveal that, which is hard news for Violet to hear and will likely be tough for fans who had theories that Xaden had loved Violet innately from the start or when he heard stories from her brother Brennan? I think there’s a certain element of Jack turning venin — I’m trying to think what doesn’t give it away for book three.

Xadens mom could’ve been vennin and attacked Lilith while pregnant with violet, which leads me to think she had attacked Brennan in the rebellion instead of Xadens father, but his father had taken the fall for it. To Yarros’s surprise, her publisher, Entangled, loved the idea, and wanted to launch a new fantasy imprint with it.

Rebecca Yarros is the USA Today bestselling author of over fifteen novels, including The Things We Leave Unfinished and The Last Letter. Yarros’ writing style is easy to devour, and I appreciated the amount of action scenes in this book. Over a feverish few months, Yarros crash-wrote “Fourth Wing,” an intricately plotted 500-plus-page narrative that takes place at an elite war college, where two dragon riders feud, then fall in love. And I think when you have a complicated family dynamic like they do with their mother, there’s nothing more tragic than losing that person before you get the answers you want and the anger that comes from not getting the answers that you want that they’re not capable of.
