About this deal

The timer starts and the madness begins, you turn each card one after another until you meet the boss of each round. At the end of each dungeon is a powerful dungeon boss - and after the first boss is defeated, the campaign continues to the second boss.

Everyone understands how to match icons on cards, and the rest of the game is just reading what’s on the event and action cards. I’m not sure about the game’s long-term replayability yet, but I’ve played it over 30 times now and still look forward to playing it again… and again… and again. You cannot go wrong if you’re a serious gamer or looking to get people into the hobby this game is a must! The different classes all have unique cards which once learned help u get through the harder dungeons. We stopped using a count-down timer and started just using a count-up timer to see if we can beat our personal best. Grab your swords, shields, scrolls and fellow players, however leave your sanity at the door, because it’s going to get messy in the 5 minute dungeon!

The game objective is simple is simple, get through all the dungeon doors and past the various Monster and obstacles that are contained within them, which increase per round (5 rounds in total), until you reach the end bosses, which include, a Monster baby, a freakin dragon! Minute Dungeon is a chaotic, co-operative, real-time card game in which players have only five minutes to escape the randomized dungeon. While you add additional event or mini-boss cards for every player, it doesn’t make up for the massive benefit you get for bringing a brand new deck to the table. While the basic premise is simple, the second-to-second decision making of which cards to keep and which to play is what gives Five Minute Dungeon life. The only people I wouldn’t recommend 5-Minute Dungeon to are those who don’t like the stress that comes with playing this type of real-time game.

At the end of each dungeon is a powerful dungeon boss — and after the first boss is defeated, the campaign continues to the second boss. If you go into 5MD expecting some simple strategy to fill an hour every once in a while, you'll enjoy it. You will find yourself chuckling when you draw and recognize "Adorable Slime," or "Just Some More Stairs", or "Steve. To make your way out, you must battle dangerous monsters, overcome treacherous obstacles and defeat maniacal Dungeon Bosses all within 5 minutes! This isn’t a joke: to play, you pull out a timer, set it to five minutes, and when you draw the first card off the dungeon deck, you hit go.
