About this deal

Comments: Great knot strength, and easily manageable on casts. I mostly use this line as leader material, but sometimes spool 8,12 and 15lb straight. I have great results using all different sizes between 6 and 20lb test as leaders. Not sure what these people who consistently break off casting lures are doing, but it's never happened to me using Red Label for 8 years. It's hard to diagnose user error from reading a review, but when someone continually does the same thing over and over you have to wonder. For me it's a great performing line and available at a reasonable price. Comments: This is some amazing fluorocarbon. Cheap, strong, sensitive, easy casting... It has it all. Get this line

Comments:the best budget fluorocarbon. the 8lb handled a 5lb catfish in a brush pile. 20lb is very strong i use the san diego jam knot & the improved clinch knot. im very impressed with this line. Comments:This line is surprisingly tough bought the 6lb & I landed multiple 3 to 4lb bass without any flouro complications great knot strength good cast ability & fair abrasion resistance for the pound test I was throwing really impressed keep up the good work Comments: Great line I have 15 pound Red Label on my spinnerbait setup and 20 pound on my jig setup. Line has held up great low stretch, high sensitivity, virtually invisible, and abrasion resistance. Line also is very managable on the spool of a baitcaster and has very low memory. This line also has great knot strength (improved clinch) (palomar). I have landed many big fish with this line the latest being a 4 pound bass on my jig rod the line held up great and allowed me to get the bass out of the brush. Comments:This has been my favorite fluro yet. Never had a break off and its very manageable for a Fluorocarbon line. The only negative thing i could say is i think it has just as much stretch as mono. Comments:Yes this is a great line, to start off with using Fluorocarbon line. I started off using this line in 2010. Didn't never have a problem with it at all. Nice and sensitive abrasion resistance. Will give you the confidence in using Fluorocarbon.Comments:Just started using this line. Got hung up on a Texas rig with 17 lb. Pulled at it HARD, and didn't break off. Finally got it free. This line is pretty tough!!

Comments: If you're in the business of boat flipping meat nuggets, but you're balling on a budget; this is the stuff for you. Casts like butter baby. Just buy it. Comments:I have been using the 12lb test on a Tatula for bass and striper in Central Cali all season and love it. Often when I get caught on a small log or rooted bush, I end up pulling the entire thing out of the water with literally no damage to the line itself. This is within reason of course. Pretty amazing for 12lb test, plus its cheap. As for people getting break offs, I have found that making a few short casts to "loosen" everything up and to get rid of any memory before launching my baits really helps to reduce potential birds nests. With that said, I fish free spool and have been extremely satisfied with its overall performance. Definitely recommended. Comments:I just landed the biggest bass of my life, 11lbs. This line handled it great. Good sensitivity, strength, both as a main and leader line at an affordable price IMO. Comments:for the money, you can't beat Seagar red label. I use 10 & 12 for crankin & 15 for just about everything else. Very good, inexpensive & strong !Comments:This is probably the worst line i've ever bought. tried every knot & blue gills bust me off on 8lbs test. now Seaguar invisx on the other hand. that stuff must be made of dreams because its perfect. Comments:The only good aspect of this line is the knot strength. Manageability, memory, knotting up, etc is all TERRIBLE.. even straight off the roll.. 0/10 would NEVER buy another seaguar product.. even with line conditioner this is the WORST flourocarbon I have ever used in my 15 years of fishing. Comments:This line is great!! I tryed it because invizex In 12 & 15lb was out! I was skeptical because I've only ever used invizex... I've tryed a lot of different lines and kno some are complete junk! And it realy seams that the cheaper they are? The cheaper they are! NOT TRUE WITH THIS LINE.. red label is great!! I have more spools of seaguar laying around than any other brands and I am LOYAL2 them as a company!! Great line for price , and have never BROKE off!! And it's very usable !! WOULD RECOMMEND! Comments:Best line yet in 55 years of fishing.inexpensive, strong, casts well and knots hold just great.i doubt I'll be switching any time soon! Comments: Just like me, you are someone looking to get the most out of a FC line but without a hefty price tag. Well I'll just say this. When I first got into casting reels, I was looking for a strong but buyer friendly FC line and I started out with Trilen and it became to crazy with the memory. So I stumbled upon this red label at my local retailer years ago and I can confidently say this is by far my favorite budget friendly FC line to date. And honestly haven't used any other FC line on the market because of this red label. I use anywhere from 12, 15, and 20# for all my needs. I have yet to break off once, we'll only if I get snagged up and have to hulk strength the line out and even then sometimes I have to cut the line because it just won't break.

Comments:Been using this line for about 6 years now. No problems at all. A great line for the weekend angler. Comments:Great Value for the Money, however, I wouldn't buy anything less than 10lb. I used 12 at first, and had zero problems, when I converted that rod to my braid rod, I bought 10lb test for my cranker, and It was horrible. Lost a few lures because it would snap off at the knot. Switched to 12lb Abraze-X and have had zero problems. Comments:Loved these jigs for river fishing in WV they will hang up easier than most jigs with heavier weed guards but the slower fall rate makes this bait trigger strikes only problem I have had is not getting some 3/8 oz can be a little difficult to get the 1/4 oz down in deeper water with current. Comments:The 10 lb line has cost me 3 jerk baits it isn't very abrasion resistant I also have the 8 for finesse fishing and not problems there. Comments:Good knot strength and possibly general strength are the only good features this line has to offer, HORRIBLE memory, knots up easily, castability is not great, maybe I got a bad batch but if not you may as well use low gauge WIRE as fishing line.Comments:I've literally fished them all. Literally. Pound for pound this is the best. It's worth double the price. The 4lb is maybe the best finesse line ever made. For the money it's not even close there's monos that are more expensive. Comments: Great Line, I have been nothing but impressed, if you put a little line conditioner on it, it will perform like a much higher end line. Good buy. This line have a 4.5/5 for me and that's because the memory on this line isn't the greatest but it's strong as nails. Comments: Honestly this is some of the best line on the market for the price. I use the 15 lbs. for pretty much everything from texas rigs to crankbaits to buzzbaits. Haven't had any problems with breakage or the line coiling up.

Comments:Fantastic line. Thin in diameter, strong, and barely visible. Used this for trout and bass. I like that I can buy 10lb thats normally the diameter of 8lb or 8lb the diameter of 6lb and so on. This stuff is really strong, just use lighter drag for ligher lines Comments:absolutely the best flourocarbon for the price. Used it for buzzbait a & caught a 4 pounder & 3 pounder plus three or four in the 2 1/2 range & was flawless. Also used it for Texas rigged beaver baits, fishing along the banks & the k it's held great (uni knot) & did not miss a bass & none were under 2 lbs. great line Comments:This is a very good line. I use it for fly-fishing and its as good as or in some cases better than many of the expensive ones out there.Comments:I've used invisX and that Vicious CRAP. This red label is all that! Very low memory and hella knot strength. Haven't had any breaks either Comments:Used this in 12ib for my baitcaster and I am quite impressed. It's castable but a bit stiff. For the money as other have mentioned it's not bad. I have yet to have a break off or any unbearable birds nest on my casting reel. Give it a try.
