About this deal

Which don't really make much sense now when I think about it, but oh well it's never to crazy to dream I guess. I am always so excited to read her next book because I know I’m getting everything I want in a sports romance and more.

Rhett and Sienna are amazing, I loved seeing the change in each of them but also the amazing characteristics that make them who they are. The Valley U women immediately bring Sienna into their tight-knit group and let her know that she has one of the good ones. When I first started reading, I kinda thought this could be a fun read because the scene with Rhett hooking up with a girl he fell asleep on, plus his and Sienna's first meeting was pretty funny. After several dates, Rhett is able to show her that he's truly interested in her and wants to know everything about her. This IS one of those books where we don’t meet the ow on page but she’s very much around all the time. The serial monogamist stuck in a seemingly toxic relationship seemed so closed off emotionally to his friends, despite being a stoic and steady presence. I picked this book up because I was in a mood to read and discover more sports romance after watching the spectacular FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar.

I loved to know better Rhett and to find out he is one of the good men, and Sienna has pleasantly surprised me with her maturity. They think they want different things, but when it heats up between them, there’s no denying they have something in common–even if it’s just for a night. Not her worries about finding a job after college, not the whispers of last year’s accident on the ice, and not the cute hockey player who keeps asking her out. It’s what every romance reader in the world has been waiting for, an ice hockey player and an ice skater!

And brilliantly so far this is the only couple who don’t already have some sort of connection to one another- somehow the characters with the least foundation have their connection challenged the most, and that makes it feel rewarding and makes their connection feel more unbreakable. I spent a good 40 percent of this book just enjoying the banter and playfulness of all the characters in this series.

Rhett didn't even like her and had nothing good to say about her, all his friends hated her, so seriously who cares? Such a fine wording, a good plot with funny and heavy topics perfectly blended, and a cute and hot romance between the main characters. Rhett came across as a bad boy hockey player when Sienna first met him but it couldn’t have been further from the truth.

Also, like the previous book in this series, the H misses a very important occasion in the h’s life. However, when life throws them a curveball, are both strong enough of heart to work through their issues towards a HEA?
