About this deal

Howdever, the biggest distinction performance-wise is that the Moondrop Aria features slightly more bass-range emphasis. Warm mild V-shaped with laidback upper-mids that benefit long hours listening with sprinkle of upper treble on top for micro details. If it works well, then the cable will further support the IEMs despite the absence of a cinch for further securement. The Moondrop Aria Snow Edition shows a pretty transparent and airy midrange character with a fairly forward presentation. If you are someone who cares about audio quality deeply, you'll want a pair of earphones/IEMs like these.

If the Snow would have deliver lush and appealing vocal that surpass the HZM, might opinion would have surely change. The first thing we’d recommend you check out if you’re interested in a different set of wired earbuds would be the Shure SE215, which features a plastic design and different style of cable which some people find to be more comfortable. Instrument separation isn't great though and this hurts imaging when listening to more complex pieces with several different instrument classes. Meanwhile, we’ve seen a few enthusiast favorites with more distortion than you might expect for the hype.

I do appreciate the excellent pinna gain on hand and will continue to credit MOONDROP there, but not so much for how dark these IEMs get right after the ear resonance that I had closer to 7. Every time you reach for earphone/IEM cables to connect them to your earphones/IEM, no matter how neatly you "wrapped" them up, they end up in a giant Gordian knot of frustration. Isolation won't blow anybody away, so if that's a high priority you might look elsewhere, or upgrade ear tips to memory foam.

Low pitched noises will make it to your ears, and keyboard strokes are only a little muffled, but I can barely hear my yowling cat.The Snow use exact same housing than first version Aria, but with a matte grey finish and beautiful snowy logo for backplate design. ER2XR amazing though especially if you can get it cheap/discounted, better technicalities (faster transient, better resolution, etc etc) and IMHO better bass (punchy yet fast, rumbly enough) and still has fairly neutral midrange despite of that.

Music is at the core of what we do; and it's our aim to help you rediscover your music and help you enjoy the riffs, basslines and solos that were always there, but never heard. Despite the 5Hz to 36kHz stated range of the Moondrop Aria, you won’t hear outside of the 20Hz to 20kHz range due to our hearing thresholds. The Moondrop Aria Snow Edition has a fairy linear bass response from the subbass up to the midbass area.On the other hand, bassier songs work fine here, such as WOW, WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY by Phono Pony, as well as many EDM and hip hop tracks. On the back is useful information about the product, including a factory frequency response curve that's always desirable. Only folks in need of supreme noise blocking should consider something else or better ear tips, given that isolation isn’t the highlight feature here. The upper treble region is less energetic and detailed, while it offers a sufficient grade of extension when I do listen to instruments such like hi-hats or cymbals. The Dioko is even more resolving and arguably better tuned too, although it is also much more subjective to fit.
