Pink Floyd will release a “restored and re-edited” edition of their Pulse concert film, which documented the band’s gargantuan Division Bell tour, next year. The film will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on Feb. 18. After Eclipse, while Gilmour thanks Roger, the audio is the same. But the 1995 release uses a shot from behind the stage; and curiously enough this shot is footage from a few seconds later when the band raises their hands and waves goodbye. Conclusion. Nice to have this stuff, and in excellent quality. But when you compare it to the official footage it’s not in the same league. (Even though James Guthrie has cleaned up the sound on each of these videos). During the month of November, 1994, the PPV event was broadcast in several countries in different dates. As a compilation of performances done during the European portion of Pink Floyd’s Division Bell Tour, the recording spanned from 17 August to 29 October 1994. The album was released half a year later, on 29 May 1995.
