About this deal

With no emphasis on luck or material privileges, Hague’s self-awareness hasn’t grown since the last time she was criticised for peddling a similar line. Michael Pollan, known for his best-selling nonfiction audio, including The Omnivores Dilemma and How to Change Your Mind, conceived and wrote Caffeine: How Caffeine Created the Modern World as an Audible Original. Molly-Mae, in publishing Becoming Molly-Mae, believes she needs to tell the world how she made herself and the life lessons she has learned along the way. She explained that she has written about personal matters that she’s only ever shared with “close family members and friends”.

The first part of the book follows the usual celebrity memoir framework – here, she describes her upbringing and way into her current job – before it morphs into a sort of “influencer how-to” about two-thirds of the way through. In Becoming Molly-Mae she unravels herself completely for the first times to open up about how she overcome heartbreaks, took ownership of her body image, battled self-doubt and learnt to manifest the things she wants from life. I was expecting more about Love Island, but it’s glossed over in a matter of sentences, which was disappointing. I always find the audio book is brilliant as you don’t always have the time for reading and it is good I can listen while I work.

The memoir is set to be released on 9 June 2022, but we recommend snapping a signed copy up quickly as they are likely to sell out thanks to her loyal fan-base. By her sharing her complications with filler, she could influence a reader to make sure they are 100% sure they want to go through with the procedure, so that they don’t potentially make the same mistakes Molly-Mae did. She highlights a number of times how her biggest concern growing up was that she wanted everyone to be talking about her and how “different” she was, without being self-aware enough to know that she really was just looking for attention. That said I appreciate her openness about taboo subjects such as cosmetic fillers and endometriosis. I do think Molly should have thought about the fact young girls would be reading this book though and not talk about how big she was when she was a literal size 10😬😬I know size is relative for everyone but a young girl would look and think Molly Mae said being a size 10 is too big and she needed to change it , so do I need to change too?

For instance, sportspeople such as Emma Raducanu, and it would be daft to delay their books until they hit 50, when the bulk of what people will be interested in would have happened much earlier,” he added. Most of this, however, has been mentioned to at least some extent in Hague’s online content (she has made YouTube videos wherein she had her fillers dissolved, for example). By her speaking about her experience, a reader could realise that they share similar symptoms and it might give them the push to seek medical help.Apple's upcoming iOS 18 is 'biggest' update in iPhone history, says report that predicts four new AI-powered. I felt she could have added a lot more details of life with Tommy and her experience in love island rather than after. My expectations going into this book were low, as I wasn’t sure how much Molly-Mae would have to say about her lived experiences. this book is essentially someone asking molly-mae what she does for a living and her typing out a long text message reply and then having that copied and pasted into a book and sold.
